Insomnia struck again last night, so I turned off all of my alarms and just let my body sleep as long as it needed. It means no real work will get done today, but I feel much better. I woke up with just enough time to stretch, eat, shower, write, and go to my weekly massage therapy appointment. Massage therapy is one of the key things I do for my health that enables me to live as normal a life as possible. It is painful, and sometimes I’m sore for a day or two, but it is totally worth it.

A few month ago I started stretching first thing in the morning. I did a search on YouTube and found a 10 minute video that was perfect for my capability. Stretching is definitely helpful in maintaining the benefits of my massage therapy throughout the week. Plus, I always feel better afterwards, so I do it every morning that I can.
