Last week turned into a bit of a challenging week. I did not have a cavity, but a filling ended up being the solution to the problem anyway. The good news is that my tooth feels better. The procedure and meds made me sick through Thursday. My IBS was definitely not a fan. The funny thing is it actually improved the constipation part for a couple days, something no official IBS prescription meds have succeeded in doing. It makes me curious about possible IBS applications, sans filling and needles, of course.
I ended up working on my career speech last minute, which I hate. I could not make it to campus to give my speech on Thursday, but it wasn’t ready anyway. Luckily, I have some awesome friends who were willing to come over on Friday evening to be my audience for recording my speech at home. Considering the week I had, I am relatively happy with how it turned out.
I was really wiped out after last week. I spent most of my weekend watching Dr. Quinn, cuddling with Joxer, eating blueberry pie, reading Chobits Omnibus 2, and reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth (started it Saturday and finished it Sunday!).
Today I was able to get a decent amount done considering I let myself sleep in (still extra tired). I made sure to take care of all the important health stuff today, including walking on the apartment “gym” treadmill for 10 minutes (go me!). I did not have much time today for business work, but I was at least able to take care of the most important stuff. It was the same for school. Not much time, but got the critical stuff done. Hopefully, I didn’t overdo it today with trying to get back on track. Here’s hoping I gauged my activity level capability correctly, so I can rock it out tomorrow too.

I had about the same type of week. Colonoscopy Monday morning. In the past, due to IBS…… I never had to take a “preparation” to cleanse. Well, IBS in the past year (probably due to different meds) Has the system slowing down or halting. Anyway, I had to drink the prep, and then worry if it will make the IBS flare up. Or will I have more problems with GERD, since I couldn’t eat solids for 2 days. Was that a mini migraine added in the mix?
So, yes when I can say, I’m doing fine, that means I took care of me, and if there is time to work on some ornaments.
It’s nice to see you doing some motion! And a nice workout wardrobe to boot!! Keep on keeping on
Pamela,
Colonoscopy prep is no fun for sure. I’ve done that twice. The first time I had the best sleep ever because they put me out for it. The second time I had a rare complication and landed in the hospital for 3 days. I hope yours gives you some answers!
